Mark your calendars and get ready to celebrate 11 years of shopping and saving in the Twin Cities at the upcoming Habitat for Humanity ReStore Anniversary Sale event!
The ReStoration Corner
It's hard to believe, but back-to-school season is upon us, and it will be just a few short weeks until school is officially in session. With that in mind, we're offering some great deals over the next few weeks at our Twin Cities Habitat ReStore outlets, to help ease the painful price tags that can come when this season hits.
If you, or someone you know is headed (back) to college, and needs to furnish a dorm room or apartment, you need to check out our New Brighton and Minneapolis store locations to shop our new and gently-used inventory. Items arrive and are placed on the sales floor daily, and our donation trucks have been busy these last few weeks!
Our stores are constantly receiving tables, chairs, couches, dressers, and more. You can check out our Facebook page to see some samples of our inventory, but hurry in if you see something you like—it's bound to sell quickly!
And even though our prices are already way below retail, we thought we'd make the deals even sweeter for our Hot Deals subscribers and VIPs by offering special savings on furniture just before school starts.
The ReStore team is excited to announce that our next big sale is taking place on Saturday, April 21! During this Earth Day Sale (OK, it's actually a pre-Earth Day sale), shoppers can save 30% OFF everything at our Twin Cities Habitat for Humanity Restore home improvement outlet locations.
After opening its doors in the Longfellow neighborhood of Minneapolis in September 2016, the Twin Cities Habitat for Humanity ReStore home improvement outlet has become a staple of the neighborhood. Now, a year and a half later, it has hit a huge milestone: one million dollars in sales. And all that goes right back to making Habitat homes affordable for homebuyers across the Twin Cities.
Join the ReStore team for the most fun day of the year! We need your help during our 50% Off Everything Sale on Saturday, January 27. If you’re new to ReStore volunteering, it’s the perfect opportunity to dive in and learn more on this exciting day. And if you’re a ReStore volunteer pro—we need you!
The ReStore offers a variety of sales throughout the year, but by far the biggest sale would be the Annual 50% Off Everything Sale. Everything in the store is half off the sticker price! This ONE DAY sale is January 27, 2018 (9 a.m. - 4 p.m.) at either one of our ReStore outlet locations (New Brighton or Minneapolis).
Here are some tips to help you tackle the sale:
1.) Be an Early Bird
Each ReStore will open one hour early on January 27. The doors open at 9am. If you're one of the first people to arrive, you'll be first to catch the deals. Make a list of things you may need for a current project or something you want to tackle in the future. If you can grab things now for a project down the road, that extra 50% off will stretch your renovation budget.
As you might imagine, there are many similarities between the two Twin Cities Habitat for Humanity ReStores (one located in New Brighton, the other in Minneapolis). They’re both near busy highways, making them accessible for shoppers and donors. They both feature a vibrant and ever-changing assortment of gently-used (or new) items for sale that help fuel Habitat’s mission. And, with a combined total of over 4,000 volunteers, 14,000 donations, and 48,000 shoppers in the last year—both stores are doing quite well.
With the season's festivities quickly approaching, we wanted to make sure to share our holiday hours with our donors, shoppers, and volunteers! These special hours are meant to accommodate scheduled organization celebrations, as well as provide staff time to spend with their families this season.
Mark your calendars and get ready to celebrate at the New Brighton and Minneapolis Twin Cities Habitat ReStore locations, as we celebrate our upcoming anniversaries!
There are many DIY projects that come about from the use of ReStore materials. We feel lucky to run across the creative minds that make frequent stops to the store, but when we heard about the work of Craig Dorn, we hit the jackpot!
