Spooky season is here! Looking to add some Halloween flair to your home? New Brighton ReStore Manager Jan shares easy DIY ideas that won't break the bank. Keep reading for inspiration from the latest episode of DIY Friday at the WCCO studio!
With Jan's creative ideas, you don't have to worry about spending too much money—or too much time—making seasonal décor. Each of Jan's projects cost her $10 or less (thanks to ReStore and local thrift stores) and took no more than a few hours.
She demonstrates how to make the following projects:
A saw with hot glue and red paint
A bubbling cauldron with a plastic pot spray insulation foam
A spooky jack-o-lantern with a five-gallon bucket, saran wrap, and twigs
A "potion jar" using a block of wood, an old bottle, spray insulation foam, and neon paint
Watch the entertaining video below to see all of Jan's Halloween tips and tricks!
And when you're ready to get started on your own fall DIY projects, creepy or cute, make sure to stop by both ReStore locations in New Brighton and south Minneapolis!
