• Make your own heat packs and add scents like essential oils or cloves and cinnamon
• Put plastic over windows to keep warm air in and cold air out
• Change your furnace filter
• Insulate your pipes
• Use insulated thermal curtains, or get new colorful curtains to spruce up your space
• Shop for new-to-you lamps at ReStore
• Switch the direction of ceiling fans so warm air goes down instead of up
• Change the batteries in smoke and carbon monoxide detectors
• Brighten or switch up a room with a fresh coat of paint
