You're Invited to ReStore's Grand Opening!

Twin Cities Habitat for Humanity has opened its third ReStore home improvement outlet in Brooklyn Park, and we can’t wait to celebrate with YOU this weekend!

Join us for a Grand Opening weekend packed with shopping deals, giveaways, raffles, food trucks, and special guests from K102, KQRS, and KDWB, all while supporting Twin Cities Habitat’s mission to build homes, communities, and hope. Get the details below and we hope to see you Friday and Saturday, October 10 and 11, 2025!

Friday, October 10: Ribbon-Cutting & Big Reveal

ReStore will kick off the weekend with an official ribbon-cutting at 9:45 a.m. with Twin Cities Habitat leaders, city officials, and community partners. This is a can’t-miss photo moment as we officially open the doors at 10:00 a.m.!

Grand Opening Highlights:

• Ribbon-cutting at 9:45 a.m.
• Doors open at 10:00 a.m. and the first 50 customers who make a purchase get a FREE swag bag!
• Meet & greet with Amy James from K102, 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. Amy will be giving away two pairs of tickets to Lakefront Music Fest! (1x pair per hour)
• La Cocina food truck serving lunch from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Saturday, October 11: Community Celebration

The fun continues from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Saturday!

Highlights:

• Doors open at 10:00 a.m. with another round of swag bags for the first 50 customers who make a purchase!
• Meet & greet with Lisa Miller from KQRS, 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. AND enter to win a pair of Minnesota Wild suite tickets!
• Meet & greet with Dave Ryan from KDWB, 12:00 a.m. to 2 p.m. Dave will be giving away two pairs of tickets to Trans-Siberian Orchestra! (1x pair per hour)  

Activities All Weekend Long

Both Friday and Saturday feature fun ways to celebrate and engage with ReStore!

• Raffles: Enter raffles to win amazing items from ReStore, including a patio glider, air fryer, Corkcicle tumbler set, a pizza oven, and a Yeti tumbler! You can enter to win each item – one entry person. You do not need to be present to win; we’ll draw and notify the winners on Sunday, October 12.

  

• Photo Op: Pics or it didn’t happen, right? Snap a pic at our photo station featuring a larger-than-life household item (you have to see it for yourself!). Then share and tag us on social media to help spread the word about the new ReStore. 

• Both Friday and Saturday will feature great shopping deals throughout the store!

• Our donation door will be open and ready to accept your drop-off donations! For a smooth experience, please review our donation guidelines to ensure we can accept your items.
