If you are looking for a fun and flexible way to volunteer around your college schedule, then Twin Cities Habitat ReStore is for you!
Volunteering with the ReStore includes a variety of tasks from assisting customers, loading and unloading merchandise and donations, taking on special projects as assigned, and helping to maintain a clean and attractive store.
The ReStore locations rely heavily on volunteers to help operations run smoothly. "Believe it or not, over 5,000 volunteer sessions of 3 or 4 hours were logged last year to help run the two ReStores. College students are an important component," said ReStore Senior Operations Manager Pete O'Keefe.

Whether you need volunteer hours for class or want to get more involved in the community, the ReStore is ready to work around your schedule to help you succeed. ReStore volunteer Jeff Craig from University of St. Thomas talked about his volunteer experience and the things he learned:
"What is unique about volunteering at the ReStore is getting to see first-hand the material difference you are making in people's lives. For example on my second shift I helped a customer choose a bed frame for her elementary age son. She was ecstatic to have the opportunity to buy a bed frame that she could afford, and also be able to fold up and bring home in her car. Little encounters like these is what makes the experience worth it."
The ReStore is always looking for more volunteers. Consider helping out today!
Four-hour volunteer shifts
Tuesday-Friday: 10am-2pm, 12-4pm, 2pm-6pm
Saturday: 10am-2pm, 12-4pm
