Thank You to Our ReStore Partners and Supporters

Thank You to Our ReStore Partners and Supporters

The ribbon (or caution tape!) has been cut, and the doors to the new ReStore in Brooklyn Park are officially open. Our Grand Opening weekend was a huge success, with an incredible turnout from new shoppers, generous donors, and long-time ReStore supporters who’ve been with us every step of the way.

Grand Opening Highlights

ReStore's Grand Opening celebration kicked off with a high-energy ribbon-cutting ceremony featuring Brooklyn Park Mayor Hollies Winston and Twin Cities Habitat President & CEO Chris Coleman. Shoppers lined up early to snag swag bags, and our raffle table saw over 1,000 entries throughout the weekend!

Guests also posed for photos in the giant ReStore chair, enjoyed food trucks, and visited with local radio hosts. The energy was electric, and full of smiles, handshakes, and hugs. View the full Grand Opening photo album to relive the fun!

A Community Effort

This third ReStore location is more than a building. It’s the result of years of planning, countless volunteer hours, and the dedication of partners who believe in Twin Cities Habitat’s mission. We want to recognize the many hands and hearts who made this milestone possible.

More Than Just a Store

ReStore volunteer helping out

ReStore is more than a store; it's an investment in the community. It creates local jobs, drives economic activity, and attracts shoppers and donors from across the Twin Cities. It’s a place where residents can volunteer, give back, and keep usable items out of the waste stream.

Every donation and every purchase—from a single lamp to a full kitchen set—helps fund affordable housing through Twin Cities Habitat for Humanity. To everyone who planned, built, stocked, donated, volunteered, or simply showed up: thank you. Your support turned a vision into reality.

Welcome to the new ReStore in Brooklyn Park, a place to shop, donate, and build brighter futures together!
