Homemade Halloween Decorations [VIDEO]

If you celebrate Halloween, enjoy trick-or-treating, or visit local fall festivals, you know that spooky season is approaching. Purchasing seasonal decorations can quickly become expensive, but thankfully there are ways to join in on the fun without breaking the bank. At the WCCO studio for DIY Friday, New Brighton ReStore Manager Jan shares a variety of homemade fall-themed and Halloween decorations.

DIY Halloween Decorations

Jan's creative ideas don't take much time, effort, or money to make:

  • A toadstool jar using an empty protein powder container
  • A shimmery potion vial made with a bottle, food coloring, cotton balls, and glitter
  • Fall wreaths
  • A crystal ball created with a light fixture, two kinds of spray paint, and tea or string lights
  • and more!
