Business Donor Spotlight: Presbyterian Homes & Services

When Jeff Hochstedler and Tim Grittner started Super Set Tile & Stone in 2014, they wanted to provide a different kind of service in the tile installation industry. They combined their experience, and their company has grown ever since. Now, Super Set offers a variety of commercial and residential services. The team is made up of about 50 employees working toward their mission of "fostering growth for the organization by building strong relationships year after year."
One of those relationships is with Twin Cities Habitat for Humanity’s ReStore Home Improvement Outlets. Sometimes when the Super Set team completes a project, they have leftover materials. Instead of throwing away usable materials, they donate to ReStore instead. Super Set donates items from flooring projects, such as vinyl planks and carpet squares. They also donate tile in a variety of styles, including porcelain and ceramic.

"Our leftover materials still have value—just because we don't need them doesn't mean someone else can't use them," said Tony Godlewski, President. "We just have to find connections to people who can use them. ReStore helps with that."
The Super Set team also gives back by investing in the next generation. To share knowledge and help younger craftsmen, they go into schools and promote their trade. Their goal is to show students that a career in the trades is an exciting, viable opportunity. Super Set's company philosophy places a high value on giving back to the community, whether that's through education or donation.
"Twin Cities Habitat for Humanity provides a wonderful opportunity of outreach for people within our metro area. The partnership with Restore is a rewarding fit for Super Set’s core value belief that, both as a company and as individuals, we need to give back to a community that has given so much to all of us," said Tony. "In support, Super Set has donated more than 10,000 square feet of flooring and surface products. A special thank you to Restore for making this gift to our communities possible."
