Live on the edge with live edge: Jan stops by WCCO to show off some DIY projects [VIDEO]

Live on the edge with live edge: Jan stops by WCCO to show off some DIY projects [VIDEO]

When you think of Friday, think DIY Friday. ReStore's own Jan Hagerman drops by the WCCO studio every couple of weeks to show off fun projects that you can create at home. You can find the building blocks to these ReStore-inspired projects at one of two Twin Cities locations.

Tips and ideas:

  • Check off your holiday shopping list by buying some live edge lumber. You'll be able to create 6+ cutting boards using one plank!
  • Use food-grade oils, butcher block finish, or a mixture of beeswax and mineral oil to give your board a richer look. There are plenty of choices out there... or just leave it natural.
  • Practice saying "charcuterie board" five times fast to impress your family and friends.
  • Start with cutting boards and move onto your own creations!
