2024 Big Ideas, Small Spaces Contest Winners

In early February, ReStore hosted a booth at the Minneapolis Home + Remodeling Show at U.S. Bank Stadium. This was the second year ReStore was at the show, and staff and volunteers had a blast meeting vendors and attendees! People who visited the booth learned about ReStore and got some candy and free merch. They could also vote on the winners for our 2024 Big Ideas, Small Spaces contest. To enter this contest, participants upcycled a smaller item from ReStore.

First Place: Dori's Purse

Believe it or not, this purse was made from a couch! Dori found a purple leather sofa at ReStore and transformed it into a stylish bag.

Second Place: Lisa's Table

Lisa saw an ordinary side table at ReStore and envisioned a beautiful addition to any home. She also made the table runner from a carpet square from ReStore!

Third Place: Janelle's Table

Janelle used her creativity to repurpose a firkin as a cute table. The lid comes off, giving this table a second purpose as stylish storage.
