Slamhammer Roadcase Company was established in 1996 when the founder began crafting roadcases for Twin Cities musicians in his grandfather’s basement. As the demand for high-quality ATA roadcases grew, the company’s reputation flourished. Since then, they have collaborated with renowned clients including Elton John, the Minnesota Vikings, Sam Smith, and Target Corporation. Extensive experience in event production coupled with dedication to craftsmanship enables the company to deliver premium ATA cases tailored to unique client needs. In addition to their roadcase division, Slamhammer Sound Inc. specializes in large-scale concert and festival production across the Midwest and beyond.

When the Slamhammer team found themselves with excess materials, they knew they wanted to find an efficient way to donate. The partnership between Slamhammer and ReStore started from the shared values of community and sustainability, supporting affordable housing while minimizing waste and positively impacting the environment. And since Slamhammer is committed to social responsibility, this partnership helps advance community development and empowerment.

“Working with ReStore has been an immensely gratifying experience for Slamhammer Roadcase Co. Our partnership allows us to donate large volumes of drop CDX material, knowing it directly contributes to local housing initiatives without additional processing,” explained Cameron Dickison, General Manager at Slamhammer. “It’s a weekly routine for our team to prepare pallets for pickup. We’re grateful for the opportunity to support our community in such a meaningful way.”

Slamhammer typically donates CDX plywood material, surplus from their plywood crate manufacturing process, to optimize warehouse space. With a weekly pickup from ReStore truck drivers, donations are streamlined and provide local builders access to affordable building materials. “By donating materials to ReStore, we not only assist in affordable housing projects but also foster a sustainable and thriving local economy,” said Cameron.

Thank you, Slamhammer, for generously supporting ReStore and Twin Cities Habitat for Humanity’s mission!
