Are you interested in donating large items (or a large quantity of items) but don’t have a vehicle big enough to fit them?
Let Twin Cities Habitat for Humanity ReStore come to you! All you have to do is request a pickup. Here’s how:
Before you request a pickup, check to see if the item you’re donating is on our acceptable donations list.
Also, please make sure your items look good and are in great working order. Here’s a step-by-step list on how to prepare your items before reaching out.
By visiting our Request a Pickup page, you can easily tell us:
What you’re donating.
When you want it picked up.
Where you want it picked up. This includes both the address and the general location at the address, whether it’s the driveway, garage, alley, etc.
Our donations team will follow up with you to confirm the details.
On the day of the pickup, please place your items outside of your house. Our staff cannot enter your home.
And if you won’t be home during the time of the pickup, use a piece of paper to label the items you’re donating. That way, our staff knows exactly what to take and what to leave!
Our drivers will load up the truck with all of your donations and leave you with a receipt and a coupon for 20% off any purchase in our stores.
