Ringing in the New Year at the ReStore

As we say goodbye to 2017 and hello to a New Year, we have a lot of successes to celebrate and new goals to achieve!

Thanks to the support of our local Twin Cities community, our Minneapolis and New Brighton stores rang up over 56,000 transactions last year, totaling over $1.6 million in sales. From July 1 - December 31, 2017, we had 29,404 transactions alone (which is a great start to our fiscal year goals, which are totals from July 1, 2017- June 30, 2018).

Last year, the proceeds from items sold at our stores helped to sponsor the building of six Habitat homes. Based on where we're at today, we're set up to meet—and possibly exceed that number soon! It's amazing what our stores and organization can do with the support we receive from local residents, businesses, and community partners.

You can be a part of our ringing success this year by volunteering as a ReStore Cashier. As a cashier you will be trained to:

- Responsibly and efficiently handle monetary transactions including sales and returns

- Provide excellent customer service and answer customer questions

- Help maintain a clean and attractive store

- Work well with the ReStore staff and other volunteers

Available cashier shifts:

Tuesday-Friday: 10am-2pm, 12pm-4pm or 2pm-6pm

Saturday: 10am-2pm or 12pm-4pm

You can help us reach our goal this year of building more homes for more families. Any time you shop, donate, or volunteer at a Twin Cities ReStore, you are supporting Habitat for Humanity's mission right here in our local community. Thank you!
