Whether it's your first time shopping at Twin Cities Habitat for Humanity ReStore or you're a regular customer, when you visit our stores you may come across some unique items you didn't expect from a home improvement outlet. Of course, we sell furniture, hardware, and appliances, but did you know we also sell cheap interior paint (for $16/gallon) and so much more? Check our list below to learn more.
The ReStoration Corner
If you’ve never been to one of our Twin Cities Habitat for Humanity ReStore home improvement outlets (or any Restore for that matter), walking in may feel a bit daunting at first. But never fear! We have a beginner’s guide to shopping at Twin Cities Habitat Restore locations just for you.
As we draw closer to Valentine's Day, a holiday dedicated to celebrating those we love, the team wanted to share and reflect on some of the great feedback we've received from ReStore shoppers. Thank you for taking the time to tell us why you love Twin Cities Habitat ReStore outlets!
We're in the swing of the holiday season and quickly approaching the New Year! As you plan out your shopping trips over the next few weeks, we wanted to make you aware of some special store hours that we will be observing.
As the holidays draw nearer, our team is excited to announce that both our New Brighton and Minneapolis stores will be designated Toys for Tots drop-off sites this season!
Happy Thanksgiving Week to you and your family! While you're preparing for your holiday festivities (and maybe creating that list of stores to visit during Black Friday, Small Business Saturday, and Cyber Monday), we wanted to take a minute to update you on our holiday store hours:
Starting Wednesday, November 21 through Monday, November 26 both our New Brighton and Minneapolis locations will be CLOSED to allow our staff time to spend the holidays with their families. We will reopen both stores at 10am on Tuesday, November 27.
If you're new to Minnesota, or are just starting to dip your toes into the charitable giving world, you may not be familiar with Give to the Max. Just as other organizations celebrate "Giving Tuesday" on the Tuesday following Thanksgiving, Minnesota has quickly adopted "Give to the Max Day", a day of giving to support local nonprofits and schools. What used to be one day of giving (with the option to schedule your gift prior to the actual Give to the Max day) has turned into two full weeks of giving!
One of the most popular items sold at the Twin Cities Habitat ReStore are Adirondack chairs and toy boxes built through youth workshops. These chairs not only generate funding for our mission, but also provide a hands-on building opportunity for volunteers who are too young to help with construction on our Habitat homes.
Mark your calendars and get ready to celebrate 11 years of shopping and saving in the Twin Cities at the upcoming Habitat for Humanity ReStore Anniversary Sale event!
