Guest Blogger: Bryce Hoban from Hook Agency shares their ReStore volunteer experience.
Second, it’s nice to get out of the office every now and then. Not only does this allow for a change of scenery during the workweek, but we got the opportunity to get a little exercise in (mostly in the form of taking a sledgehammer to some recycled furniture).
Volunteering at ReStore made perfect sense too, as we have a lot of clients in the construction industry. And we love the work that ReStore is doing when it comes to reusing and recycling building materials and furniture.
Twin Cities Habitat for Humanity also has a great reputation and we felt very fortunate to be able to help such an accomplished nonprofit get some work done on that Friday afternoon at their ReStore facility.
We will certainly be returning for another volunteering session soon!
