If you've been thinking about updating light fixtures in your home, ReStore is here to illuminate your imagination! In this episode of [DIY Friday](https://restore.tchabitat.org/diyfriday) at the WCCO studio, New Brighton ReStore Manager Jan shares simple, affordable ways to brighten up your home.

From lamps to sconces or hanging lights, light fixtures at big-name stores can be expensive. But you can find amazing deals on all kinds of lighting at ReStore. You can use your finds as-is, of course, yet a little creativity can go a long way. Check out some of Jan's DIY projects:

- Make a unique hanging light with a globe and spray paint
- Transform a $10 lamp and Hot Wheels cars into a meaningful lamp
- Use two old lampshade frames and yarn to make a colorful creation

Whether you want to spruce up your living space or make a thoughtful gift for a loved one, beautiful light fixtures don't have to break the bank. And if you have items you no longer use, consider [donating to ReStore](https://restore.tchabitat.org/donate)! You'll even get a 20% off coupon.
